Jaxon Lloyd
My name is Jaxon Lloyd and I am from Halifax County, Virginia. Growing up in a rural area such as Halifax County the way I live my life was greatly influenced by this rurality. My entire childhood was spent out in nature, whether it be playing baseball, riding dirt bikes, or fishing. I always found a way to be out in nature.
This greatly influenced how I see beauty to this day. I do not find beauty in cities, fancy buildings, or anything of that sort. I find beauty in the abandoned buildings that surround Halifax and Charlotte County, in the opens fields all around me, the beaches on lakes, or in the different animals that are found in the nature I frequent.
This is what influences me as a photographer. This life of being surrounded by nature and what man has left in nature is what I choose to focus my photography on. Not only is it something that I do find beauty in, it allows me to connect closer to the area that I have called home for my entire life.
